Discover the Château de Preisch
Learning through play: a principle taken literally here! 20 minutes away from Thionville and the city of Luxembourg and 45 minutes from Metz, Château de Preisch and its fantastic park is filled with history, adventures and explorations. The perfect playground for day camps or schools to mark the end of the year.
History, nature, culture, arts : we developped an educational program made of workshops for everyone from age 5 to 12.
A place steeped in history
From the medieval castle (1200) to the Renaissance one (16220), along with numerous works of art, furniture, sculptures, and paintings, Château de Preisch and its lengthy border history offer children the opportunity to learn how history and art have intertwined over the centuries.
Nature : raising awereness and preserving
All around the Château, the beautiful park with its rich fauna and flora allows us to raise awereness among the children. The English garden with its two-hundred-year-old trees, the permaculture garden, the farm with its rabbits, donkeys, cows and sheep : everything here is about biodiversity and respecting it.

For your school trips in the Grand Est, we put up workshops matching the age and class of children. We offer various forms and themes of educational activities concerning three topics : history, nature and art.

An exceptional estate open to others and in tune with the times, Château de Preisch is dedicated to sharing its rich historical and natural heritage with visitors.
In that sense, we want to show young people a world where all our senses are alert : to smell, to touch, to observe, to listen, all those verbs are part of the everyday life here. Activities are made to immerse at the heart of nature to uncover its mysteries. Escape, venture, explore : what a day !
